A scar will be left with every breast lift surgery. These scars can be small and hidden in the areola or larger scars that extend on the breast or in the crease underneath the breast. In general, not making incisions in breast lift when they are needed will lead to an unsatisfactory result because of ongoing sagging. The cuts are permanent, but the scars are very variable and will fade over time. If scarring is a concern for you, make sure to bring it up during your consultation.
What Should I Expect During My Recovery From Breast Lift Surgery?
After breast lift surgery, your incisions will be dressed or bandaged. It’s important to wear a bra to keep your breasts supported and minimize swelling while they heal.
